MEANING AND LOGO
The Latin term "excelsior" is often used to indicate a sense of moving onward and upward.
Inalta, on the other hand, derives from the Latin words "in" and "alta", conveying a meaning of going deeper, or moving into the deep.
Inalta's logo is rooted in imagery of a spade, reflecting the symbolic need for humans to dig ever deeper into the core of meaning, purpose, love, and the journey of self-discovery.
As you move through life, it is our hope that your goals grow ever more lofty, and your meanings ever deeper.
PHILOSOPHY ON AI USAGE
Inalta stands with the Writer's Guild in condemning companies that train LLMs on unlicensed intellectual property. While this is a wrong that must be righted, the reality is that LLMs are permeating many aspects of personal and professional life, and changing the landscape of both writing and publishing.
Inalta supports responsible AI usage for research and brainstorming, but does not support undisclosed AI authorship.
Inalta supports the Writer's Guild Human Authored certification program.
